Another angle.

Dont stop believing.
Nice look at the dirt and FX pass working together.
A look at the translucent quality of the fabric thanks to a particle pass.
This was a complex model with array of different materials. It had raw metal, painted metal, rubber, glass, plastic, mud, and translucent fabric. While the silhouette and color are very stylized, the material behaviors like fresnel and reflectivity all need to behave realistically.
I aslo did the CB and map.
I needed to transfer all surfacing on one model to the 'stunt' version of the jeep that gets cut in half by a penguin. Then create the molten FX material as seen in the next image.
I aslo did the store, but thats another story.
It was an interesting challenge because the model was an actual 200 page book. This required a lot of coordination between animation, layout and surfacing in order make sure the story points and action matched the surfacing.
This asset was a challenge because the lighter needed the perfect amount of dust and transparency to sell the look of the glass. The refraction effect was designed by me in surfacing, then tweaked by lighting.
Also the bugs, eyeballs and twigs.
