I did the floors, walls, windows, fixtures and "notes".
I did the walls, floor, doors, cabinets and mirrors. as well as the props in the cabinets.
I also created the clumpy bushes that surround the dirt home of the giraffes.
All of the forground and midground grass is geometry. This makes the scenes extremely heavy to render. I was charged with optimizing characteristics of the grass in order to get optimal renders. I also needed to groom direction, length, and weed/grass ratios per art direction.
I painted the matte painting and the various elements required to animate and deform the different 'temperatures' of lava.
I created the various maps necessary to give the wall a sense of being lit from within. I also created the buttons and switches with displacement and HDRI glow maps.
For the close up shot, it was necessary to create a very dense and real feeling section of ground for Dubois to inspect.
I did all the dead foliage, the ground, weeds, and Shrek's home.
